My son read this book and said this was totally different. His words were "How are they goona fix that some of the graphic's on the freaks were cool but the movie was quite boring, I was almost asleep a few times during it!! NOT GOOD

The movie was not true to the book,it jumped around and mixed parts from later books other than one through three. It also changed some of the atributes of the characters. It still was entertaining and the plot was well developed. Exept for young children, the whole familly can enjoy this.

Great. True to the book and I thought well made for the young adult/early teen audience. It manages to be funny, while handling issues such as death, nascent sexuality and issues of identity in a sensitive and funny way. We really liked it.
